chat, no worky
I use the chat button on top of the page and it doesn't work. It wants to connect me, but just says, failed attempt, disconnected.
It has worked for me fine in the past. What's going on there? Also I checked out Antagony's thread about mIRC and XChat but, that stuff might as well be in Mandarin Chinese. I downloaded mIRC and followed his instructions but nothing worked out...any suggestions? |
I believe I have been banned unjustly. I do not wish to offend... why?

thanks spectre, I suppose there was another issue.

This seems to be the full on error message I get while trying to login to the tfp chat via the chat button:
java.net.UnknownHostException: irc.irvingnet.net |
Well, at the time I am writing this, I cannot DNS anything off irvingnet.net from my computer and a few of my shells. It seems they're having technical problems :(
Good luck. |
Back up, try now..
|
Everything's back on track! :D

see here for guidance in getting IRC running in mIRC and X-Chat aqua under OS X. Bernadette: what browser are you using? I've used java in safari, and it works, as well as anywhere else, but I definately recommend getting a "real" IRC client. :)
