How do you imbed quicktime movies?
In this thread:
http://www.tfproject.org/tfp/showthr...threadid=31900 Was trying to imbed a quicktime movie given here: http://www.extremescience.com/whale_shark_15.mov But it didn't work. How can I show a movie to people who visit the thread? |

two things.
first, people with slow-ass computers like mine don't like entering a thread with a video unless they know that there's one there. second, quicktime is a bitch. along with the embed tags, you hafta define its height and width. check out an embed that phaenix did, then press the quote button in his post to see what the syntax should look like: http://tfproject.org/tfp/showthread....threadid=14706 normally, when you find a .mov-embedded site, if you view the source of that page, you will see the embed tags with the parameters contained within. if not, you hafta pull some parameters out of your ass and test them to see what will work. in any case, it's kinda rude to embed a video in the middle of a thread, you'd be better off just linking to the movie. that way people have a choice as to whether or not they wanna watch it. btw, it was an orca, not a great white, in your video.
