When you click on a thread and view it. And then go back to the thread listing, the thread links are not in a different color that have already been viewed. I think the color is set the same.

Yes, you're right, the colors are the same for a visited and non-visited link.

if you see this next to a thread: http://tfproject.org/tfp/images/style_tfp4/folder.gif it means that there haven't been any new posts since you last read it.
if you see this: http://tfproject.org/tfp/images/styl.../newfolder.gif it means that there are new posts in that thread.
