Use 'Email Notification' by default?
 

Does this automaticly subscribe you to topics you've posted in? If it is supposed to, I don't see them listed in my TFP homepage :(

Half reply: You only see subscribed threads if there has been a change in them.

Note: come to think of it, I'm not even sure about that...

It wont make it a subscription, per se...

What it says under the option is the following:
Using this option emails you whenever someone replies to a thread that you have participated in.

What that means is this - you post in "ABC Thread" and move on with your life. Now, the next time someone posts in that thread, you will get notified via e-mail that there has been at least one post after yours to that thread. It will not notify you again until you've visited the thread after receiving the e-mail.

I hope that made sense to someone...

I've turned this feature off in my settings but I'm still getting the e-mails. What gives?

I noticed that, too. It works if you use the post reply button before posting your reply. If you use the text box at the bottom of the thread to enter your post, it doesn't. (You then need to immediately edit your post and click on the email notification.)

Find the posts that you are getting emails for, edit them, and uncheck email notification for each one.
