PM status

Is there a way for me to determine if another member has read (or at least clicked on the link of) a PM I sent to them? I know how to bring up the list of my sent PMs, but there doesn't seem to be any detail regarding the status of the PM.

I believe that's an option that only the mods and admins have.

In your Private Messages screen, look to the right hand side for the pulldown list. The choices should be "Inbox", "Sent Items" and ">>Message Tracking". Select ">> Message Tracking" and click "go". You should be all set.

The pull down menu only has choices for "Inbox" and "Sent Items". Maybe the ">> Message Tracking" comes after longer membership. Or after Hal makes me a mod.

Got some strange problem with "Message Tracking"...

I had this option in the pull down menu. But today I got access to "Members playground" and the "Message Tracking" is gone...

Could it be a bug?

I've not had Message Tracking in 4.0, because normal users don't get it. We used to, but alas, no more.

Is this something one of the Admins can reinstate? Is there a reason it was disabled in v4.0?

If message tracking is disabled for normal users, the admins should get rid of the checkbox asking if you'd like a read receipt. No sense in having an option for something that is disabled.
