The ubiquitous EDIT button is missing
The Edit button, to the left of the quote and quote+ button that stands at the bottom of every one of our own posts; it is now missing from most of my posts (I only notice that it still persists with posts that are less than three days old)... is this due to an recent update, or an unaware glitch (or am I finally being phased out from the community because my general opinion is eternally, 'on the fence')?
I'd like it very much if it would find its way back home, because one of the tenets to my personality/participation is the ability to withstand time, and fix the some times broken-down posts that arise after years and re-shuffling of the web. |
+1
I too like to be able to repair/replace broken links, update files, and generally have some long term control over my own input. So, what's up, Powers That Be? |
Can you let us know which skin you are using?
|
I'm using TFP green & the edit button is not there on older posts as Jetee noticed.
|
Something I was fixing broke it, I fixed that but the original thing I was working on is still broken.
Nothing gets past you guys :) |
Thanks muchly due, for the fix, of which I have just noticed it the "edit" button has been turned back on. (now I need to recall what were the posts I was trying to edit in the first place.)
quick aside: Is the "Blog this post" button a newly-installed feature, or have I just been overlooking it all these months (mainly because the button for it doesn't have a one-word descriptor of what it does)? |
It is a newly installed feature from a couple of patches ago.
|
Thanks again. I'm not as lost or behind the times as my mind would like to it out I am.
