OpenDNS and www.tfpez.com - Tilted Forum Project Discussion Community

First of all I'm currently using OpenDNS as my default DNS servers. No reason, other then they are close and have a low ping time.

So occasionally (say like once to twice a week) I get an error when I try to load the tfpez site. Basically it's the "this site isn't loading right now.." blah blah blah. Usually if I wait it out (5 to 10 mins) it comes back and everything is fine. Any other site that I attempt to visit when I notice this issue loads without incident.

My question is this: If anyone else is using OpenDNS do you see the same issue occasionally? If so do you have any idea what's causing it? If no one else is having this issue, what are some good, fast DNS servers I can use?

I haven't visited TFPEZ in a long time. I had been using OpenDNS, but the search redirect was bothering me in Firefox, so I switched to Google Public DNS. Of course, I'm not using Firefox anymore either, but I haven't seen the need to change back.

Well I'll give this a shot. I did like the traffic monitor ability of opendns, but then if it's stopping me from hitting certain sites it's rather useless.
