Linking past threads
I've searched and searched and haven't found an answer, maybe I'm not using the correct terminology. How does one go about including a link in an OP/post to another or past thread?
That is my main concern, however I also have no idea how to make a link to an outside website. I've searched support and the Newbie's forum but must be missing some obvious area of advice or direction. I know, really basic stuff, I just haven't had a need in all my years here! Thanks for your help anyone! |
just put the URL in your post or use the INSERT LINK button in the reply box.

Geez, thanks for such a quick reply Cyn! I'm clueless with computers. URL, would that be the full http://www (whatever) from the web page or thread page I want to link, just copied and pasted? Man, I feel stupid.:shakehead:
P.S. I think I know the answer in previewing my post, the http://www is a link. Still, tell me I'm right please?! |
yes you are right. so for this thread... I just copy:
http://www.tfproject.org/tfp/tilted-support/146670-linking-past-threads.html#post2620963 and it turns into http://www.tfproject.org/tfp/tilted-...ml#post2620963 |
