Disappearing posts
I thought I remembered reading about this somewhere, but I can't remember where it was (still pretty new to this place) so sorry if there's already a topic about this somewhere.
I just posted in a topic, then directly afterwards, the post was gone. I figured that maybe I just messed up somehow, so I did it again. This time I saw the post, then I went to edit it and I got an error message saying that the post didn't exist. Then I went back to find it missing. It happened way too fast for it to have been modded, so I'm guessing it was a technical issue. Any idea what's going on? The only notable thing I can think of in the post is that there was a link in it. |
You ran afoul of our spam software. Your first post was reviewed by a mod, deemed worthy and posted on the main board. When you edited it, you triggered the software again, so it has to be reviewed again, which will happen shortly (if it hasn't already).
It's not you, it's us. The most basic level of membership is earning your way past the software by posting responsibily. Just keep doing what you're doing, and the problem will resolve itself quickly. You just need to be patient in the meantime. |
Oh, so it'll show up on its own then. Guess I should have just waited awhile, but I didn't know how the system worked =P
Thanks for responding so quickly. |
