I can't embed SeeqPod in my journal
The following SeeqPod code will not work in my journal:
( note I intentionally put a space after the first "<" and "embed" ) < embed src="http://www.seeqpod.net/cache/seeqpodSlimlineEmbed.swf" wmode="transparent" width="300" height="80" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" flashvars="domain=http://www.seeqpod.com&playlistXMLPath=http://www.seeqpod.com/api/music/getPlaylist?playlist_id=17ce15a22f"></embed> The same SeeqPod code work fine in a forum post: <embed src="http://www.seeqpod.net/cache/seeqpodSlimlineEmbed.swf" wmode="transparent" width="300" height="80" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" flashvars="domain=http://www.seeqpod.com&playlistXMLPath=http://www.seeqpod.com/api/music/getPlaylist?playlist_id=17ce15a22f"></embed> I have no problem embedding YouTube videos in my journal. Is there something special I need to do for SeeqPod in my journal? Thanks for your time, Bees |
the youtube embeds are done via bbcode as bbcode is allowed in the journals.
I believe that some HTML is allowed in the journals, (not 100% sure of it, I haven't tried it in sometime) but embeds are not allowed which is why you cannot get the seeqpod to embed. |

I wish I could embed. *shrug* |
yeah yeah yeah....
Use the following BBCODE [ seeqpod]6c958fb9a4[/seeqpod] Note where I got the seeqpod playlist_id= to embed my music: < embed src="http://www.seeqpod.net/cache/seeqpodSlimlineEmbed.swf" wmode="transparent" width="300" height="80" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" flashvars="domain=http://www.seeqpod.com&playlistXMLPath=http://www.seeqpod.com/api/music/getPlaylist?playlist_id=6c958fb9a4"></ embed> It should now work in your journal. send love and thanks via donations... |
