How do i stop my e-mail from getting pounded with past topics ...
Any help will be greatly appreciated ... how do i stop T F P notices or updates from being sent to my e-mail address ... some i dont mind but some of them are non stop, even though i no longer participate in that particular forum ... ?

If you don't want to turn off *all* e-mail subscriptions, simply click the link under "To unsubscribe from this thread, please visit this page:" in the e-mails you receive for threads you no longer have an interest in.

What I do is edit my subscriptions notice to receive only information about new posts in the threads I am subscribed every week. You can edit this to every month if you so choose, as well. Or just simply edit your subscription notices to not forward to your e-mail.
Also, you can just delete all of your subscriptions. That works, too.
