Thread Preview
 

I have noticed this one some forum now and when you mouse over the Thread title you get a little box that pops up right below the title and shows a little bit of what the post is about. It is just an easier way to see if you want to or not to click and read the rest of the thread. Some examples you can see are:

Hmm... based on what I think I know, this wouldn't be all that heavy on the server. A couple of things to consider... don't think it would be that hard. Problems I would see with this... hmm... I suppose time might be saved by creating some sort of index for the preview box's contents, instead of re-generating the content on an on-demand basis. Heh, then again what do I know ;) Nice idea I think.

I second that. After a brief visit to one of the forums and registering, you can then see what unknowmf is talking about. Best suggestion I've read so far. :)

Im glad people like my suggestion! I just hope that sometime soon this will happen, because this is a bit easier to see if that certain post interest you or not.
