Suggestion for Halx and TB image loss
 

Perhaps Halx should change the rules so that all members of the Tilted Forum
must send in $5 annual dues before you can post.
This would allow enought money to keep the Forum in operation and not stress
out thefew that do support it with their $20.

Another question: where have all the images gone? I use Firefox and it worked
great last week but now I see nothing in most areas. Perhaps all of the image
upload websites have rejected all of the naughty pictures? :D

the board would loose a looooooooot of people. i love tilted forum, but i would not pay to post here, or any forum for that matter.

there are many members here on the board, and only a number of donors. I think making a 5$ fee for posting would be looking @ it the wrong way. If you said, maybe 2-3$ before viewing. But then again, porn is free everywhere. Were a community here, and the best way to kill a good thing is to charge mandatory dues imo. Perhaps if there is a need for money, a tfp fundraiser of sorts. Just an idea.

I got a suggestion... move this to the Suggestion forum.

And the fee thing has been put to bed. Donations are the way we roll here.

TFP is like the NPR of online boards . . . the members support it of free will...

I would be willing to pay a MONTHLY subscription fee.

So do that! Just submit it via the current "donation" channels. You're welcome to think of your donation however you'd like to.

I also wouldn't mind a monthy or yearly fee. I think thats a good idea.

We have members who can't afford to donate anything; their opinion is worth as much as anyone else, and I'd miss hearing from them. (I donated, but never got a donor tag, ah well.)
You probably were playing around with the Options/Preferences menu. Go to the Content tab, and uncheck "Load images... for the originating website only".
