Better age screening.

I am sorry to say that I don't have a solution to the issue I am about to bring up, but I figured that maybe in the long run people could come up with one.

After seeing a post of a banned member, I decided to see what got him banned. By looking at his posts, he declared in a post that he was underage. He was banned. That's great that the mods were able to catch him before he was even able to make a dozen posts, but when I looked at his other posts, they were all in the Erogenous Zone.

It's true that there are kids online, and many of them are exploring their sexuality by searching for pornography. But to see proof of it...doesn't that kinda become a liability for you guys? I know it's impossible to know the exact age of members here on TFP, but maybe there is a better way to conduct the screening process to limit these occurrences to a bare minimum.

To tell the truth, I could care less about some kids exploring their sexuality; but when it becomes a liability to you guys, that's when I get concerned.

All the mods do everything within our power to make sure that we catch underage members ASAP.

There is no way to prove age on the internet. It takes research and time on our part to find out this information.

There is no liability issue that lies on our side. The liability lies with the parents who allow their children unrestricted access to the internet.

I think that making the Tittie Board a "Donors Only" site would eliminate 99% of the problem. That way, minors could come here and become educated, but would not be exposed to stuff that minors should not be exposed to. Then, it would be no different than their going to the public library and sitting at the desk reading a Sexuality book.

Even minors can go to the post office and send a money order to Hal.

The only way to verify age would involve a credit card or driver's license or something like that. Not that I'm recommending it.

EDIT: Oh, I get what you're saying. Even though they could donate, minors usually don't give a damn (or are too lazy to get a freakin' job).

Yeah I know that when I was a minor:
a) I didn't have a job until I turned 18
and
b) Searching for porn was the same for me as it is now: If I have to pay for it, just move on to something else.

We state that we only accept those over 18, and when we find someone breaking the rule (we'll sometimes even do random checks on people,) we ban them. When people seem immature, you can bet that they're checked out repeatedly. We're particularly good at catching kids, and as of now, we've banned several hundred people for being underaged.

Have you ever banned someone for being underage, but then unbanned them once 18?

Several times. At least one well-known member has been in that situation, but I'll leave it up to that member to decide whether or not to be identified. When we do it, we send them an email telling them to contact us when they turn 18 and get unbanned. Sometimes we card them just to make sure.
