TFP Radio?
I was making a thread in Computers about how to set up an online-only radio broadcast. Thinking about it, I began to wonder if it'd be possible for TFPers to set up an online broadcast of their own, like on a weekly or monthly basis. Y'know, one of the more tech-savvy people, preferably staff members. Nothing fancy, playing music (mp3s) and talking about recent events, threads from the board and whatnot. I dunno if this can be done or if there is even any interest...but thought I'd ask anyway. If someone has already brought this up before, then my apologies.

As Halx stated..."maybe when we become huge...". That's an awful lot of resource to expend when you don't know if many people would listen. It is fun to think about though.
Hey, Halx! I wanna host an hour long nightly spot examining the attributes of Alyson Hannigan.

what about the audio equivalent of webcams? a 10 or 20 second audio clip that's updated once every now and then? i might start doing that myself when i get round to getting some web space, but i'd like to know what other people think about the idea ... even if they think it's a dumbass loser idea

When I move up to the main campus of UCONN next year, I'm going to be trying to get my own radio show. Maybe I'll look into a webcast of it and let TFP'ers call in. Generate publicity for the site among the college kids. Now you have me thinking, and you're not going to be able to stop me.
