I often forget about threads I've posted in, and don't catch up until weeks later, and thus I think it would be nice to have a way of seeing all the threads I've posted in - for easy reference.
If this is already possible I must have stared myself blind at it.

'bout the best I can do for you is to show you how to find posts you've made recently.

click your own profile, then in the upper right there's a "find all posts by this user" link. those are in chronilogical order, most recent first so you can see what you've been upto lately.
The other alternative: bookmark threads you're interested in.

hope that helps!

Also, there will be a dot on the icon to the left of threads you've posted in. And don't forget about the subscription feature - although it doesn't always work and you'll need to set up a filter to avoid your inbox becoming cluttered if you post a lot.

I knew about those two, but thank you anyway.
I don't like the subscription - I hate getting those e-mails. There isn't an option to NOT get the e-mails and have all my subscribed threads on one page, is there?

Go to the Search button in the upper-left of the page. Under "Search by User Name", enter your ID. The results will be all the threads you have posted in, listed in order by whenever the last post was made in that thread.

I use that all the time, especially after a couple days away from TFP.

So THAT's what that meant! I'd still be wondering til this day what that red dot was. I asummed it just meant a new reply was in the thread.

Waitaminute... you're telling me that oldtimer, the guy who does all the cool vBulletin stuff, didn't know what the icons were? Wow.

Of course, the dots are really hard to see in the first place, especially if there are also new replies in the thread. (Or maybe that's just with sandstorm theme.)

I usually just go to the members section, click on the advanced search and search for my name. Then when my name is found, I click the search button and it gives me all my posts starting with the most recent.

I wish there was a faster way though, maybe a button in the user cp that does this same task or maybe even one on the home page.

Whoa, whoa!! I thought that the dot meant that there was a new reply in the thread that you've looked at. This is like finding out an orange was really an apple your entire life! Ok, not that bad, but still surprising. How do you tell if a new reply has been entered in a thread you've looked at then? This is just odd. I've been going to VB forums for a long time, and I've always thought the red/orange dot was for new replies!

*EDIT* Nevermind, I'm mixing up the red box and the red dot. I'm still sane.

There are two possible results, one ought to cover you.

The cheerios method shows you all of your posts, in the reverse chronological order that you posted them.

The redlemon method shows you all of the threads you have posted in, in the reverse chronological order that the last post was made by anybody in that thread. (I can't phrase that any clearer, sorry.)

In either case, you can probably save a bookmark/favorite that gets you that result, so that you don't have to do the multi-step process. I think if you hit 'stop' while the 'showing your results' page is up, you can bookmark that interim URL to get your custom search page.

Yeah! That's what I was saying. But upon revisiting this thread, I saw how TFP distinguished it:
It's that semi-filled block around the red dot.

Hey, there's something new to learn everyday.

Btw, the icons were never explained that far on TFP. Only the "New posts" , "No new posts" , New posts + "More than 15 replies or 150 views" , No new posts + "More than 15 replies or 150 views" and the "Closed Thread" .

I have never noticed the red dot before, but now I see it! Thanks!
That's a bit like cue dots! (I'm a film projectionist in a cinema in my spare time - if you don't know what ue dots are, just ask. You'll never enjoy a flm again... )
