View New Threads - testing board
I have noticed that the View New Threads option on the main page excludes such forums as the Titty Board and the Links Board. This makes good sense, and I appreciate it.
I was wondering if it would also make sense to exclude the Testing Board? People aren't looking to start discussions there. |

Yeah, that was a thoughtful feature.
Would it be possible to set up a special page in the User CP where you could enable or disable threads from your own handpicked forums? For instance, I don't personally play much in the Nonsense Forum and I'd like to be able to turn it off. |

Just checking, was there a good reason that my initial suggestion wasn't good? The admins usually give good reasons that point out something that I missed, but there were no admin comments in this thread.

I came here looking for something like this. A very good idea.
Maybe have the nonsense board ignored as well. Sometimes after being real busy and not having time to stop in you can get a lot of pages of new posts piled up. The nonsense ones often get in the way, and occasionally lure me in under the idea that it was a sensable post. Certainly isn't to big a deal, just a thought. |
