General Questions Board?

Hi, I was wondering whether it was possible to open up a board where people could simply ask questions to which they seek answers. Here we could spill our fountains of knowledge.

I know a search engine is a good way to go to find out what you wanna know but I don't believe a search engine compares to real people giving real answers.

I'm not talking about tacky questions like "How are you?" and "What's the weather like down there?" moreso towards things like "Does anyone how the military is structured in terms of ranks?" or "Who was the Greek mythological figure who doomed himself by looking behind him?". It could also prove to be a great place to get help for those tricky class projects that seem to only cross your mind the day before they're due

I suppose one could say these are sorts of things one could ask in General Discussion, but here we could give direct answers as opposed to Discussions.

Anyway, it's just an idea.

Although a place that is devoted to only questions doesn't sound that bad. Except the problem is that (as with everything else) you really don't know if the answer you recieve is correct.
