Journal Formatting
How hard would it be to allow html codes (*or at least formatting*) in the journal section? I can understand the security concerns (*people adding scripts that kill the site*), so what would be a reasonable request on this?

I second this one. The journals should behave like the forums.
Right now, the journal is de-HTML-ified twice. I enter <b> and the source that comes out is &amp;lt;b&amp;lt;. So first it's turned into &lt; - &gt;, then THOSE ampersands are escaped into &amp;.... Somebody's gone to some <i>trouble</i> to keep me from using bold text! |

umm... ubb code still works guys...
here's a quicky rundown. [ b] [/ b] bold [ i] [/ i] italics [ u] [/ u] underline hyperlinked text here[/ url]
[/ code] fixed-width spacing (not confident thisone'll work in journals, never had the need to try) edit: TAKE THE SPACES OUT OF THE TAGS, OF COURSE! |
