Just a helpful suggestion...
 

I think perhaps TFP should have "chat" parties set up to get use of the chatroom. By maybe posting a date and time and getting RSVP replies in the thread we may see a chatroom that thrives. If the chatroom thrives, then maybe more people get drawn here and TFP grows.

It's just a suggestion and idea to help promote the site.

We've done some similar things in the past with some designated "hosts". We can easily ressurect that, but we'd need volunteers.

This reminds me that I was going to organize one in a couple weeks...I should really talk to the wife about that.

Yes pan we've done them before. Lunch with... Dinner with... Ask an Editor...

We will be doing them again. I'm in the process of testing out a new chat software and some upgrades to the software and prepping it for the upgrade that I'd like to do over the summer.

also pan :) just come in the evening when the most amount of people are in chat, but drop on in. there's usually someone on.
