Fundraising
Ever consider setting up a store at CafePress: Funny t-shirts, unique gifts, and custom t-shirts? I played an online game that used cafepress to offset some of the expenses, just a suggestion. I am pretty sure that some of our more artistic members could come up with some designs. (I am artistically challenged personally) There may be some people here who wouldn't mind getting a hold of a Tilted T-shirt, coffee mug, bag, panties or sticker.

Funny, a few of us were just discussing selling TFP shirts and stuff for fundraising. Neat that you thought of it, too.
Are you familiar with how cafepress fundraising works? I poked around their website for a couple of minutes and couldn't find any details, other than this brief description: Quote:

It's simple. TFP sets the markup on items in its own shop. Profit = funds raised.

Sounds like a pretty good deal. How difficult would it be to set all this up?

On a related note, wasn't there talk of making and selling a tfp calendar a while back?

A lot less work than running a forum from my understanding. You simply submit your designs and decide what products that you want. Set up your account and where you want your money to go. If you have someone who can manage to put up a design it takes no more knowledge than it does to pay a bill or place an order online. Many people would prefer not to donate, but to receive something physical in return. It may not add up to a great sum of money but there is no loss of inventory in the process either. Who knows, it may even draw some membership in?

I feel a TFP design storm coming on. Dlish - I have no idea what it would take to put one together. There has to be someone around here who has made one before... Edit: looks like they're really easy to make with Cafe Press, unfortunately their base price is more expensive than I'd expected - $14.99.

well if your signature was anything to go by, you'd be a certainty for either Miss January or Miss December.
