An Alternative to Post Count - Tilted Forum Project Discussion Community

Currently, Post Count is used as a criterion for entry into the Tilted Exhibition and Member's Playground, and to earn avatars.

This does not distinguish between members who simply spam the titty board, and members who start threads and contribute material to the forums.

How about a point system?
5 Points: Every Post
1 Points: Every Reply (from someone else) in a thread started by you

Good threads tend to have lots of replies. This holds even in the titty board, so this system tends to reward posters who put up quality material.

Not sure if this is actually codable, might add a lot of overhead to the board.

Suggestions to improve this system?

points are the same as posts.

More posts, more points. Replies don't mean a thing. It just means that people have stuff to say. It has no effect or influence on how well you constructed the thread in the first place. Good topics and ideas will always have good replies.
