How about a page for donors only?

Just wondering what this page would have that would be different than the rest of TFP? Or am I missing your whole point? Are you suggesting a donor listing or a seperate page(forum) for donors?

I'm suggesting a seperate page for donors. It just adds to exclusivity and could encourage certain people to donate.

Also, I've found that the people with the donor by their name tend to be nicer than those who don't have that by their name. Perhaps I wanted to post things in the forum that I wouldn't want non-donors to see.

Not necessarily a good thing. It could also lend itself to elitism.
I've noted no such corelation. I see a pretty even mix. There are some pretty generous jerks out there. Conversely...some broke assed sweethearts.
Do not take this as any form of criticism, as it is in no way intended to be. I am genuinely curious. What would you possibly want to post that you wouldn't want non-donors to see? Really.

I just want to know what the page would have. What would make it special so people will want to donate to be able to see it?


As far as the niceness goes.. BOR hit it on the head. There's a good mix.

Maybe there are some particular non-donors that I don't want to be able to view some private stuff.

What happens if these so called non - donors become donors? We are not going to create extra forums to accomodate one individual.

I can tell by their general fuck-all attitude that they will not become donors. Anyways, if they become donors then it's better for us.

I still want to know what would the draw of a donors page would be. There has to be something more than your private threads. Those can go into your private journal. What kind of material would be in a donor's only page?? This is your idea.. expand it.

I dont think this suggestion is coming from the right place. We really don't have anything more to offer.

Okay here's the right place:

It would be FUN to have a discussion room for donors only. Simply for the fact that it's fun to keep secrets.

Secondly: you want in on our little secret place? Donate. It's an added incentive.
