Well birds are popular names for AFL teams: swans, crows, magpies, hawks, eagles. Even Swans can be aggresive and teretorial, though I do concede that the image of the swan in my mind is one of an elegant bird swimming by peacefully.

sorry to spoil the party, no ones backed the tigers to win this coming sunday, even though they DID wallop the cowboys 3 weeks ago..GO TIGERS!

I know a bloke who was inline for $5000 with a $5 outlay for a 'pick the score' at the TAB. With 10minutes to go a 26-12 Tigers win seemed possible.

All was not lost as he picked Matt Bowen as the 1st try-scorer to win approx $100.
