I'd like nothing better than to have old Roger have to bat in a national league game and take one to the head, just so he could see what its like. He's a chump. By the way he didn't get 300 today.

It is Baseball. THere are 162 games in the regualr season. Everyone can win - even the Tigers.
Good for them though....for one day, the beat the best team in the world.

I would consider them the best franchise of all time, and currently. The same team will not win EVERY year, but four times in seven years is pretty good in my book. They will get back on track this year, and may have already started. The won the latest Red Sox series (who got swept by the Jays) and took two of three from the Tigers. Their schedule from here on out is fairly easy. It is no sure thing, but I would venture to say that they will win the AL East AGAIN this year.

Hopefully Weaver can add some stability to their middle relief, but he has looked bad with the Yanks. I would rather have a race than the Yanks up by 15 games in August...on second thought... |
