Homerun Derby
I know it is a bit early, but Bobby Abreu of the Phillies just banged out 24 HR in THE FIRST ROUND!!!
The totals do not carry over to the final, but that is a great start (most HR in ANY round of a HR derby btw) I wonder if he peckered himself out and has anything left for the stretch now? |
I got home just after he was done, 24, ouch! Not only did he beat the old record, but he beat it by nine. Pretty amazing. It kind of reminds me of Michael Johnson and the 200 meter record. Of course, this is just a HR derby, nothing serious.
