Official 2005 CFL Thread
I'm surprised this hasn't been posted yet...
Alrighty fellow Canadian, discuss playoff predictions, games, trades, etc Poll's for who's gonna win the Grey Cup. I haven't seen any games yet except for Toronto and Sask. Whoo wee, down 14-26 and came back to win it by 1 point within 5 mins in fourth quarter, now that's football, you don't get those kind of thing in NFL. Gotta hand it to Pinball to come up with hail mary and a whole lotta of 'em I'll have to say that for playoffs, West: 1st: Edmonton 2nd: BC 3rd: Sasketchwan East: 1st: Toronto 2nd: Montreal 3rd: Hamilton I'm actually hopeful that CFL is gonna let Ottawa change its name back to Roughriders and eventually expand into one of the city in the Altantic.

I wonder if reader response to this poll will be any indication of the general interest of Canadians toward the CFL. Myself, I'm not a big fan. I've been wooed by the NFL. I know, CFL is Canadian, and I should support it. It's just soooo hard. I can predict the score of every game. ALMOST EVERY CFL game, mark my words, either ends up as a blowout, like a 15-20 point differential or more, or a win by 3 or less points. VERY few end up in a normal score like 21-14.
For what it's worth, I picked Edmonton, if Ray gets healthy.

I am a canadian but do not follow the cfl. I don't think i've even made it through a full game, grey cup, nothing. Now I never miss a NFL game on the tele, since there is no team in toronto (closest big city to me) i like to watch all the teams, with no real favourite, just like to see a good game, and players, like randy moss, ray lewis....ron mexico. all the biggies, everytime i watch the cfl all i can think of is that a low rank us college team could wipe the field with them. true or not, i like to watch the worldest best. i wish i liked the cfl.

I'm not Canadian and I don't have a particular liking for the CFL, but I will always root for Montreal because they are the former Baltimore Stallions, the only successful American CFL team
