Have you ever been to any live sporting events?
I have been to one Philadelphia Flyers game (against Ottawa) a few years ago. It was alright, but I was too young to appreciate.
I also have been to a Philadelphia Phillies game. The seats were crappy and there was some loud guy behind us running his mouth the entire game. I have been to quite a few Reading Phillies games and also have been to a few Reading Royals games. Both of which were a lot of fun, and not as pricey. Have you been to any live sporting events? How was the experience for you? |

I went to a SF Giants game once but we had crappy seats and couldn't really see anything so we ended up looking at the jumbotron more than the actual game.
Also went to a toronto raptors game, platinum seats. Pretty good i guess, but im not a big fan of basketball so meh. |

I've been to just about ever kind of sporting event that ypu can think of. I've never gone to an NFL game though. I'll go some day. Baseball is by far the most boring. There was nothing going on. I just walked around with the girlie and ate some food.

I saw the Colorado Rockies play once, unfortunently only for 7 innings. Me and a buddy of mine got escorted out of the stadium for drinking our own booze. We just wanted to save a couple bucks...Beers at a sporting event are expensive. I've seen a lot of hockey, a lot of baseball, no NFL...like sixate said, I'll get there some day.

Here are some rough estimates for me.
Anaheim Angels games: 30 (including Game 3 vs. the Yankees last year and Game 5 of the ALCS) LA Dodgers games: 6 LA Lakers games: 3 LA Kings games: 1

I've been to several games. Three regular season Broncos games, 1 preseason Broncos game, 3 Rockies games, 1 Nuggets game (back in the '80s when they were good). I haven't been to an Avalanche game yet. I've also been to several NASCAR Busch and Truck series races, but no Winston Cup yet. I'd go to more, but those were the only times I was able to get free tickets

<p> As for me, I am Portland native going to college in Philly so I have gone to Blazer, Phillies, Eagles and Sixer games(not a big hockey fan). The Blazer and Eagles games are the best because the crowd is most rowdy and enthused at those. However the infamous 700 club at Veterans Stadium (well at least until now) and totally ruin or enhance your Eagles enjoyment, depending on the type of fan you are. I don't attend games too often as the tix costs, on top of transportation, and time costs usually don't justify going so far to get a worse view than one gets on TV. |

I live in a minor league town, but have been to games in all major league sports. Plus many Winston Cup races.
I just got back from our AAA baseball teams game, and personally I prefer these guys over all the other games I've been to. Two dollars to park, five bucks for a ticket 100 feet from the field, $3.50 for a 16oz. beer, and real, real low on the prima-donna scale for ballplayers egos. Hell, these guys can play some ball, too. |

I've been to many Texas Rangers games, mostly seeing the Red Sox since I am a Red Sox fan living in Texas. Been to some Oakland A's games when I was younger and lived in Sacramento. Saw the Red Sox in Fenway when I was younger against the Royals, back when Yaz and Brett were still playing. I have tickets for the Rangers and Astros in Houston on June 28 of this year.
Been to a few Spurs games from past and present. Saw the legend Larry Bird and also saw Michael Jordan in his rookie season. Seen the Houston Oilers once in the Astro Dome. I worked at a golf event once selling drinks on a moblie cart. It was The Legends of Golf when it was played in Austin. |

Went to a Senators hockey game against the Vancouver Canucks back in 2001. I was given $150 box seat tickets from the company I was working for. The final score was 3-0 Ottawa. It was a good day.
I used to go to a lot of Winnipeg Jets games as well back in the day. Good times, good times.

I've been to 4 Green Bay Packer games.
Packer games are by far the best too, the vintage stadium, the Packer Hall of Fame right next door, and the tailgating you can't beat. You also got the shirtless drunks in below zero weather that are hilarious to watch, especially in the second half when the cold starts getting to them.

One day an Englishman, a Scotsman, and an Irishman walked into a pub together. They each bought a pint of Guinness. Just as they were about to enjoy their creamy beverage, three flies landed in each of their pints. The Englishman pushed his beer away in disgust. The Scotsman fished the fly out of his beer and continued drinking it, as if nothing had happened. The Irishman, too, picked the fly out of his drink but then held it out over the beer and yelled "SPIT IT OUT, SPIT IT OUT, YOU BASTARD!" |

Been to a few Browns and Steelers games back when I lived in between those two cities. Even saw Jim Brown play once.
Also went to quite a few Indians and Pirates games, back when I still cared about baseball. Even saw a Pirates game at The Murph, when I lived in Cali a long time ago. If the Steelers ever come play the Texans here - I'll go.

The Sixers played very well tonight, and Iverson had a magnificient game. My order of enjoyment for watching regular season sports is probably football, baseball, hockey, and then basketball. The playoffs make any sport kick ass, but I do like them all, just at varying levels... I generally would rather watch the game on TV, as attending too many games can get pricey... Philly sports teams are great though. I like them all and it seems that for once they won't choke in the playoffs. |

Don't get too many pro games in Montana, but have been to 5 Mariners games, 2 Rockies games, 2 A's games, and 1 Orioles game right before Cal broke the record. Only been to one NBA game (Blazers), and was very unimpressed. Can't think of a better way to spend a day than at a ballpark.

Minor League baseball is fantastic. I've worked for a couple of minor league baseball teams in the Astros organization and the Mariners organization and I live right in the middle of the Midwest League. I try to hot Clinton (Lumberkings), Quad Cities (River Bandits), Peoria (Cheifs), and Cedar Rapids (Kernals) every year. But I been to hundreds of other pro sports events and I love it. I spend my summers hitting concerts and Baseball games. |

When I was younger I went to just about every St John's basketball game. Have been to about 50 Yankee games and about 10 met games. been to lots of European Soccer matches now, and I used to work for a company that did work in Madison Square Garden so I have seen more Knick and Rangers games than I can count.

I've been to a ton of Diaondbacks games, lost count of those.
About 7 NFL games (notice I don't say AZ Cardinals, because the only times I go are when one of my preffered teams comes to town - SanFran, Oakland, Green Bay) Four or five Coyotes games (NHL) Never to a Suns game though, and there's no real reason other than basketball doesn't really interest me much. I usually have a blast at the games that I go to, mostly because it's all about having a good time with friends, even if our team happens to be losing that day. |

This past hockey season I've seen:
(NHL) Montreal (g/f team) @ Ottawa (my team), (NHL) Toronto @ Montreal, (OHL) London @ Ottawa, (OHL) Hull @ Ottawa. I love hockey, love the playoffs (hockey all night ) Other events this past year include: Ottawa Renegades (CFL) Ottawa Rebels (NLL) - folded this season Too many other events throughout my years, from majors to the minors. I don't like baseball or basketball, but it's much more fun in the park or arena with all the fans - great experience.
