Nuggets V Suns

Is anyone watching this game right now? The score is 75-57, Suns. This is at the half. Looks like the Suns new-way to play may be allright.

the suns are nasty this year, but im predicting they lose to my wizards ('zards if you will) in the finals. but they did just stomp the shit out of the hottest team in the nba.

inkriminator 04-19-2005 09:09 AM

i'd love nothing more to see the wizards in the finals, but there's not a chance of that happening this year. Aside from haywood, we have no serviceable bigman, ruffin's allright, but an offensive liability.

I think the Suns are gonna run into the same problem, they have great perimeter players, but Amare and Marion, as great of players as they are, are just not big enough, I don't think, to really defend inside. we'll see, I think the the playoffs this year'll be great.

alec 04-20-2005 05:08 PM

yah, kwame sucks, haywood sucks, etan thomas is a ferocious, goofy monster, and ruffin is a hustler. but, we will fuck up the bulls, despite whatever those bitches at ESPN say.

the Suns are good shit, but i see them falling in the second round. i dont imagine anyone beating tim duncan/spurs in the playoffs

Mojo_PeiPei 04-20-2005 05:13 PM

The Suns don't need a dominant inside player because they are all athletic freaks of nature and nobody can beat them in a fast paced transition game.

alec 04-20-2005 05:23 PM

I think the Mavericks could beat them in a fast paced game. I'm pretty sure the Heat could beat them too. I'd say the Wizards too but no one respects us and I'm not even sure if I do either. But we have Larry Hughes, and he's huge.

alec 04-20-2005 05:24 PM

sorry to reply again, but damn, the nets outscored the celtics 32-8 in the 3rd quarter. I don't want Jason 'i beat my wife' kidd in the playoffs. Lebron, damnit!

inkriminator 04-21-2005 09:46 AM

It kills me that lebron isn't gonna be in teh play-offs, but at least we get to watch Vince Carter, that's a good trade-off in my book

Mojo_PeiPei 04-21-2005 10:21 AM

it was a sweet trade for the Nets, blew for the raptors.

jorgelito 04-21-2005 10:51 AM

The Suns have great interior with Amare Stoudemire who may end up a "real" center yet.

alec 04-21-2005 12:57 PM

yah, the nets are good but weird. I hope jefferson comes back.

I saw them play the Wizards on Tuesday. They played amazing the first 3 quarters, up by over 25 going into the fourth. The wizards pulled all their starters and the nets kept their's in, and guess what? The Wizards got it down to 6 with 2 minutes left. I don't know, I think Jason Kidd is a wife beating piece of dirt and Vince screwed the Raptors, but if they get Jefferson back and Shaq is injured, could be a nice series.

By the way, (maybe this is my bias as a Wizards fan), but does it seem everyone in the world is picking against us and also ignoring us? We're playing the BULLS, the bulls. The bulls people. They are without Deng and Curry, and also start like all rookies. We have Gilbert Arenas, Larry Hughes, and Antown Jamison. Where is the respect?
