It is very unfortunate, especially for his wife, daughter, and other family members.
You made a great point. Football is a high contact sport, and there is a probability that you could seriously cripple or lose you life playing it. I support fines on illegal hits in the NFL, despite one argument that it takes away from a player's natural reflexes/reactions that causes some of those illegal hits. I know this particular death was in a different context, but I was elaborating. |

That's pretty sad, but those guys all know that anything can happen once they step foot onto that field. Otherwise, they wouldn't be playing the game. My sympathies to the family and friends.
