The most painful announcer to watch!
I don't know whether to laugh or cry for this guy, but i'm sure he has to have pissed his pants during this.
I was actually waiting for him to start crying. http://www.czabe.com/mediaclips/inde...howclip&id=273 "He passes it to the man...and BOOM goes the dynamite"   |
Ahah....his ears get me, too.
|
omg, poor bastard. he thought he got into rhythm towards the end with that "BOOM goes the dynamite" call, but man, he just fell right back down. time for a new profession.

That's the most awkward thing I've ever seen in my life.
|
I actually felt pain from watching that. Jesus Christ, he was so awkward and nervous.
|
Poor guy. That's going to haunt him the rest of his life.
He must have been so excited to do the 'news.' Jeez, that was painful to watch all the way through. |
Oh I dunno. The guy's a freshman in college, probably on his first ever college newscast, trying to deal with reading the teleprompter, facing the right camera, remembering what he's talking about, while brightassed lights blind him and the director yells at him in his ear. I've seen even veteran reporters stumble a bit - not that badly, but then they have a lot more experience with that stuff.
I've been on that side of the camera before, and it ain't easy when you're live and you know you can't take it from the top to fix your mistakes. I guess I'd like to see any of y'all do a sportscast for the first time and manage to pull it off without any mistakes. I know my first ever on air experience (college radio) redefined the concept of a train wreck. I'd like to see this kid after he gets some experience under his belt - wouldn't be surprised if he turns out to be pretty good. Let's not forget that Katie Couric once was so bad that the head of news at NBC called her affiliate and told them to NEVER put her on the air again, and years later was the highest paid news personality on television. |
