Basketball Cards

In nostalgia mode i was looking up some of my old basketball cards whcih I used to collect when i was 12, around 1993-1995. Back then we'd normally use a magazine/price guide called the becket to price and value how much cards are worth. I was wondering if there's any online or some other source where they list prices of cards, preferably around the 1994 or so ERA.

By the by, does anyone else still collect basketball cards or know if there's a big market in the united states or anything like that? It was once big in Australia, but the introduction of pokemon, harry potter and dragon ball z; i don't think kids collect anymore :p

I dont really collect anymore, but if i go to a mall and see a david robinson card i dont have (237 with no doubles) i will buy it.

Beckett is still around, but i like ebay, because pricing is so regional otherwise.

I looked through my old cards:

Several ones of Luc Longley
Several Dominique Wilkins
Two Clyde Drexler
One Karl Malone
One Grant Hill rookie card
One Patrick Ewing
One Larry Bird
One Gary Payton
One Karl Malone

Thing is, back then I didn't know who the hell these guys were

You can subscribe to beckett's online price guide at beckett.com, but I must add that it is extremely useless. magnum_xxxL was correct when he mentioned eBay. Just create an eBay account if you don't have one, search for the card(s) you're looking for, check "completed listings" in the left hand sidebar and hit Go or whatever it says to proceed. It will then show you what the card(s) actually sells for. Beckett is garbage.

I collect basketball cards, but my collection is a bit more updated, as it consists of many autographs and cards with game-used jersey pieces on them. If you take a look in the Sports forum, though, you can see a thread I posted about my key vintage rookie cards. :)

Glad to see another collector on the TFP. I've been trying to get a collecting forum going on here, but it doesn't seem to have that much support at all.

P.S. I trade with Australians all the time. If you PM me, i can direct you to a trading site that is dedicated to Australian collectors.
