Is Wrigley Field as cool as it looks?
 

I know there are many people from Chicago, but I've never been. But is Wrigley Field as cool as it looks on TV? Everytime I see it, its always sold out and just looks like fun.

I don't know about Wrigley but I know Fenway is awesome!

Wrigley is awesome. It is the best park to watch a game. I have been to somewhere near 20 parks. I have been to Wrigley for 3 games and sat all over the place. Great park, great time. Also has the BEST Friggen HOTDOGS! I would kill for a Vienna Beef Right now.

Go to Wrigley for a daytime game. Must be in the daytime.

Best time ever there: double header that started in the day, they don't stop selling beer till the seventh of the second game.

And don't forget about Mark Prior and Kerry Wood. Not to mention Zambrano, Sosa, etc. Not only do you get a chance to see a beautiful old park, but you get to see good baseball.

Oh, and sorry New York, the Chicago hot dog is simply the best.

I have a great time whenever I go to Wrigley. I try to make it atleast a couple of times a summer and come to think of it, I've never gone to a nite game. Even sitting in the Family Section in Left field is great. I don;t even mind the fact that they don't allow beer in that section.

Hey, I'm going to a night game at Wrigley next week. Will be in the bleachers. I've sat about everywhere in the park, the bleacher seats are the best. Not because of the party atmosphere but you really are close to the outfielders and you've got a great view of the field. The area around Wrigley is exceptional for fun before/after the game. Bars & restaurants. What a place.

BTW - bleachers seats are sold out for the rest of the year

Yeah - except the Red Sox Suck! Oh and BTW, thanks for trading for Kim. Now the Yanks can watch him collapse multiple times a year rather than just when we face him in the WS.

Glad someone asked this question.... I'm going there in August for a Sat. day game, for a bachelor party. The baseball is just extra.

Wrigley is the best field I've ever been to. It is one of the true old school fields. Saw the best game of my life there.

Wrigley is the best baseball park around, all these new parks are nice but they dont have the feel and histroy of wrigley. im biased though life long north sider/ cubs fan

Ditto...Wrigley is awesome. If you can catch a game in August when the Airshow is in town, it is incredible. Sit out in the bleachers, wathch the game and admire the B52 stealth bomber as it circles over head.

Wrigley is definitely a lot of fun - and it's 15 minutes away from where I go to school :D

Been to Wrigley, sat in bleachers. It is old and cozy, but Fenway is much better. I liked the area around the park at Wrigley though....
