Strange request: Best way to "hang"
What's the most comfortable full-suspension harness you can think of? Parachute? Hang gliding? S&M?
Problem: Subject needs to be suspended upright for extended durations. Solution should be restful, secure, and non-compressing. By "non-compressing" I mean it should not compress the torso in a way that would restrict breathing. Sorry, it must work within the confines of Earth's gravity. The object is to ease breathing (vs. lying down) while providing drainage and lung expansion. Semi-inclined positions are the normal best-effort solution but they allow sliding downward and are therefore high maintenance. Ideas, Tilted wizards? |

I'm not sure what sport you are playing with this harness so perhaps you might get a better response by posting this in "How To". The real geniuses hang out there.

It'll likely head to that forum. I was hoping for the latest and greatest in sporting wear since "sportswear" often leads the way.
I wish the use was recreatonal. It's actually for a medical purpose. Ventilator weaning post recurrent pnumonia. |
