He better do well, and Oakland better win games. I made a bet that they would finish 4 games over the browns. SO i need Randy Moss to play amazing
the haters are out again...your jealousy amuses me...all of you
jealousy? its called realism, homer.
lunchbox...really, do i need to make you look like an fool again? and give the "homer" non-sense a rest. i can prove you wrong in almost everything you spew regarding the raiders, because you lack severe knowledge about them and the nfl as you have obviously proven in this thread. i know you really want to argue, but i'll pass until you can bring up something worth arguing about.
yes, you sure made me look like a fool.... on the internet...in front of people i don't know....good one.
blah...nevermind...not worth it.
Let's see how the Raiders go in the season opener against the Patriots.
Spoiler: Go Silver n Black! |

yes jadadfox, i was 'pwnt' severely, i must admit. i bow to you lunchbox, you truly are a genius.

Bottom like is that the Raiders are still a 7-9 team at best. Jordon is unproven, the O-line is week and Collins cant hit a wall, much less Moss or Porter, sober. We don't even need to touch on their defense.
LT might be the better back and with longer term upside than Holmes, everyone in the league knows that Priest behind our OL Hall of Fame is the dominant run punch. No one has been as productive as Priest Holmes over the last 3 years and he's been injured each year. Gunther Cunningham will have this defense in the upper half this season, watch an d see. And if we get that, we get the Super Bowl.
Everyone knows the Lions defense is on the verge of being amazing. All they need is to sign jesus as a DB and Harrington needs to up his production by like 300% and there's no doubt the Lions are in the super bowl. Winning it might be a challenge, maybe if barry comes back out of retirement in the exact same shape as when he left we'd pull it off no doubt. I hear grumblings that he's going to do just that.
/Freaking TIRED of homer mentality instead of reality. |
Only an idiot would compare the Lions to the Chiefs in any way, shape, or form. What a joke of a comment. Im gonna jack your lunchbox and rub your jelly sanny in your face.

Read the TFP charter if you aren't familiar with the rules. |
I've been reading 3 pages of this and the question that keeps coming up, for me at least, is "really, who cares?"
If your a Raider fan (and I am), you like the addition of man with Moss' numbers running on your offense. It may be true that it doesn't matter as Collins is about as worthless as a second hole in the ass, but then again he might come out and surprise everyone. If you're not a Raider fan, what the hell do you care? Sure controversy follows this guy like stink on shit, but controversy as always followed the silver and black. People wondered how Jerry Rice would fit in with receiver core; he did just fine. Folks wondered how Romanowski (I hope I spelled that right) would manage; he did alright. Everyone talked about Sapp moving in; he's doing just fine. Moss will do the same. Personally, I think it's nice to see another proven solid receiver running routes out there with the as yet, untested talent. I certainly would've liked to see Collins get the pinkslip, but Norv seems hell bent on making him the next 'go to guy' handling the ball, so, what can you do? Will there be controversy? Absolutely, he's a flamboyant character, no doubt about it, but I think his numbers speak for themselves. He'll do just fine. To take it a step further, I think he helped Culpepper become a better quarterback. Maybe some of that mojo will rub off on Kerry "second arsehole" Collins. The last two seasons have been absolutely horrible, I really don't see how signing Randy Moss can do more harm than good. |
