What can you say? The Bulls have won 15 of their last 19, and 9 of their last 10. That's not too shabby.
They just handed Detroit their 3rd straight loss tonight. Granted, they haven't had the hardest schedule in the world since mid-December, but in that span they've beaten the Pistons (twice), Magic, Cavs, Timberwolves and Grizzlies. They've got a hard February coming...we'll see. |

And the East isn't as bad as people think. Miami and Washington are doing great, and the Central division has 4/5 teams over the .500 mark with the Cavs leading the way. Sure the Atlantic sucks, but.. well they won't really get better. West is stronger and better, but the East isn't a joke like people say. |

I have been a Hinrich fan for several years. I think he's the next John Stockton. Just need to get him a Karl Malone. Preferrably without the southern drawl.

The Bulls could be nasty, if they could only find a way to combine the powers of Curry (a fucking pussy of defense and the boards) and Chandler (a pussy on offense) you'd have your Karl Malone.

Now the Bulls are 2 over .500, and yes, they are exciting to watch. John Paxson has had two really good draft classes, and with Eddy Curry finally in good shape, he is quicker and more athletic. He schooled Nene last night with quick spins to the basket and transition dunks.
Chicago is currently #6 in the Eastern Conference and only 3 games in back of Cleveland in the Central Division. That 0-9 start can be attributed to some awfully tough opponents and a 7 game west coast trip. They lost 13 of their first 15 games: NJ IND PHX LAC SAC GS DEN LAL PHX UTAH (W) CLE LAL (W) MIA WSH SA That's a rough stretch. They've had some easier games lately (ATL, NO, etc.) but only play the Bobcats for the first time tomorrow night. The key to me is that Skiles has figured out that it's best NOT to have Curry and Chandler on the floor at the same time. The presumption was always that those two would have to be the Robinson/Duncan of the East, but Chicago has played best with Chandler coming off the bench and Antonio Davis starting at PF. Plus Hinrich and Duhon are great at getting the big guys the ball or hitting 3's when double teams come in the post. Sorry for the long post, but I've been in Chicago for 12 years, and a good Bulls team is a long time coming.
