Well, I was in town today, doing a little shopping, and noticed that a sports clothing store was selling a few NFL jerseys (very unusual, NFL stuff isnt normally sold at all other than in specialist shops in the bigger cities, and doesnt have much interest in the UK)

Anyway, they had three player's shirts - Tom Brady, The Bus, and Tiki Barber.

I wonder if they are considered the three most marketable players, or if they just play for fashionable teams? I had to buy my Jets jersey online, anyway.

I would have thought TO would have at least outranked Tiki, but maybe New York stuff is more fashionable in the UK. And Bettis has a had a good season, but who won the rushing title? Another example of the Jets and Curtis getting no respect!

The only one of the three that I would have thought would have been on sale in that situation is Tom Brady. If you're looking for marketability, I would think the list would be something like Brady, Peyton Manning, and Brett Favre.

sometimes smaller stores sell jerseys they picked up for a discount. Even some of the smallers sports stores around here has various players.

Sometimes you can tell by looking at the date those jersey's were made, if they were last years models or 2 years ago then you have an answer.

Yeah. Don't be surprised if you find a t-shirt that says, "Buffalo Bills: Super Bowl XXVII Champions!" After all, what are they going to do with all those t-shirts they make for the losing teams. They send them to the unsuspecting foreign market.
