wow. reading that article, he died, at age 43, from complications arising out of sleep apnea. I am myself 46 yrs old and and I also suffer from sleep apnea. scary stuff.

The real tragedy is that sleep apnea can easily be controlled. I use a C-PAP machine. That's just a mask that fits over my mouth and nose. The machine forces a stream of air through the mouth and throat, insuring that there is a constant and unterrupted flow of air through the body. Sleep apnea is a dangerous, slient killer if not addressed.

Maybe Reggie didnt use it last night. bummer

He was one of my favorite players when I was a kid. I had a poster of him lined up in a stance, and it read "Minister of Defense". Awesome player too, he got the sack record in a lot less games than Bruce Smith.

Had he not come back to play that year at Carolina, he would have been in the HoF last year. the NFL said they were not going to waive the rule to let him in early... but you can garauntee he will be first ballot voting in the HoF.
