i wouldn't know what to do with my own golf course. you better improve you game this winter!

i did using the timer on my camera. for most of the pictures the camera is just on the ground, or sitting on the sign markers for the holes when my dog would not sit still, she likes to lick the camera.

its around 8:00am here, today its going to be like 8°C. going to hit a quick round with the missus and the kiddo coming for the walk this morning since its so nice out (hope it stays that way). they usually walk with me for the front 9, then stay in the club house at the turn as its too cold to have the kid out that long (7 months old)

You are very lucky. I couldn't even imagine having a golf course for my own use. Crazy. Hopefully you'll be shaving some strokes off your score with all the practice you will be getting.

ENVY!!! I work at a golf course and get to play for free, but there are annoying people there all the time.

I'm so jealous. Golf is my main passion.

I tell ya some facts.
first off i still suck at golf ( 18 handi). I only really play for fun. But i mostly play at other courses not my inlaws course. Most of the private courses in my area are all friends of ours so I like to get away and enjoy there courses as well. I do relish everyday that i have my own "private" course, but it has its downsides. Anyone and everyone who golfs, always calls me and wants to come out for free. which is fine once or twice. but my inlaws did not work there asses off just to get there son-inlaws friends free golf. I gets tons of email with the annoying small talk ending with are you free for golf??? and when i have people over to golf its like i am "hosting" a party, kinda like when you have company over. know what i mean.
Sometimes i fee like the kid in the neighbourhood with the only pool.
I like to get out to the other local courses and enjoy time away from the eyes of the family. I am very lucky that my father inlaw is friends with just about every private owner in our area and I am very lucky to get free memberships to these clubs, 6 in total. My favorite time is the early spring and the late fall when the course is closed and its just me and dog. I hit 30 balls on first par 3 today, just messing about. never could i do that during the year except if it was very early (before greens are cut) or late in the day. should be nice out again with weekend i hope! here are some pics from my last round on sunday.
