Buffalo Bills. My dad's family is from Fredonia, in Western NY, and my dad raised me as a Bills fan. I've never lived there but when I was a kid I didn't have any local teams influencing me since I lived in Africa for 9 years. I had to watch the Bills lose all 4 Super Bowls via satellite at ~2am, and get results of regular season games on Monday after my dad could go to work, get online, and get the recaps. Every summer we would go visit his parents in Fredonia where the Bills used to hold their training camp (before they moved to St. John Fisher) and I would go and get a ridiculous amount of autographs. We would plan the timing of our one trip home per year around the Bills.
I have no second team. Believe me, there have been times in recent years, including this season, when I wish I did, but I don't. Go Bills!!! |

Grew up in Conn. started liking football at age 10. (1985) the year the pats whent to the super bowl. My pop and all his friends hated the pats. They told me I should give up on them. I hung in there through the early 90's into today. Even though big Ben and his Steelers stole my hopes that the pats might go undefeated this season, I still wake up and look at my tattered 1988 pats ballcap and say "how sweet it is!"

When I was younger I traded a Eddie Belfour card for a Barry Sanders card, and from that moment on I was a hard core Lions fan. Yes, I follow the Detroit Lions. With the exception of the Cardinals, one of the worst franchises in the NFL in the last few years... But I love 'em. They started strong this year too. Harrington's holding his own. Their rookies are doing pretty well too. Too bad Barry retired so soon.

I'm 22 years old and have been a Raider fan since Hoss was the boss. I remember my dad use to watch Raider and Ram games all the time when I was young, but the Raiders stuck with me.
The last time we won the SB was when I was a year old. We have had nothing but mediocrity in the last 20 years aside from 1999-2002. Al Davis needs to go, he is holding us back, and I hope to see a SB win soon. |

THe Raiders and the Niners are my favoured teams.
Exept their front offices have absolutely fucked them lately. So I've been cheering for the Eagles lately.

Baltimore Ravens.
Second team: the Arizona Cardinals, since I always play them in Madden and try to rebuild them

Buffalo Bills. I grew up on Long Island and never followed football much until I got to college at the University at Buffalo. You CAN'T be in the city and not be a Bills fan. It just doesn't happen. This was during the time when if you're a Bills fan you say they won 4 straight AFC Championships and if you aren't you say they lost 4 straight Super Bowls. I still maintain my allegiance to them long after being kicked out of college and catch their games at one of 2 Bills bars that are packed with Western NY natives that are stationed/retired here in Hampton Roads.
God they're awful though. We need to trade Henry for a name wideout or else a decent O-lineman so Bledsoe survives the season. -Mikey |

I've been a Tampa Bay fan ever since they changed their jerseys and got Tony Dungy as their coach. I never lived near a pro team growing up, so I can't pick a team based on that. Too bad they suck--they just got too old, and so it's time to rebuild the defense.

My favorite Pro Football team is the San Francisco 49ers. The first time I ever watched a football game was the 1994 Monday Night opener between the 49ers and the Raiders. I was in the hospital at the time, and had never really cared for football, but the person that shared the room with me wanted to watch the game -- I got hooked.

The Cleveland Browns from birth. I have been with them through thick and thin, mostly thin in recent years. I also follow the Houston Texans, since Head Coach Dom Capers is an alumnus of my high school, and we have contact with each other.

Packers. I don't live anywhere near Wisconsin, but from the time I started watching football, the Packers drew me in. I just love that the team is owned by the city and you can't argue with the history. One of these days I need to plunk down a grand or so to get a couple of tickets at Lambeau.

Patriots, been a long time fan through famine (Victor Kiam) to feast now! Use to be a 49ers fan but they are doing the feast TO famine thing now. Its all about the ownership; who they hire and how they would like the team to be run. It starts at the very top!!

KC Chiefs have always been my favorite. They are by far the team I keep up with and care about the most. Second favorite is probably . . . The Buc's or Pat's, I like them both.

Cowboys and Colts. Cowboys cuz I'm from Texas and it's one of two requirements to be a Texas Citizen. Colts cuz way back in the day, Jim Harbaugh wrote me after I wrote him, I thought it was the coolest thing ever, I was in the fourth grade, plus the fact that he said he always wanted to QB for the Cowboys made him an ok guy in my book.
