Ricky Williams
How 'bout it......Ricky Williams comes back to the NFL for the start of next season....but the dolphins trade him to the Bills for Willis, cause he really wants to play again in south fla. any takers?
|
if I were part of the Miami organization..I'd keep Ricky. Sure he may have put the dolphins through hell this season by not being there..but he can point out that the dolphins didn't do shit without him.
|
trade trade trade... Teammate or not, if i were on the O line I can't say that I'd be too motivated to block for Williams.
|
If you are Miami you do it without even thinking.
If you are Buffalo you turn it down without even thinking. |
Trade him and let him rot in Arizona. There's plenty of weed and border agents that would love to make Ricky's acquaintance down here.
|
i wouldn't want him anymore. let him get a new start with a team he might care about. find a willing team to trade for a starter and go from there.
|
There is no way that Miami would keep him. If he quit on you once theres no telling when he would do it again. While Miami didn't do shit without him I wouldn't want to keep him and then delay the improvement process. I'd trade him to a CFL team if I could.

Anyone else see Jason Taylor dressed up as Ricky Williams for Halloween? I was laughing my ass off. Thats how much those guys can't stand that punk.
I feel bad for Dolphins fans this year. Tough break. |
If one RB I want to see out of retirement is Barry Sanders. Retired at 28?? Way too early.
|
I doubt they would ever trade him to Buffalo though since they are in the same division. Personally I wouldn't mind Onterio Smith :)
|
Just saw the report on ESPN.
He's not coming back, and he freely admitted to a reporter that he still smokes pot and plans to continue. Aside from how stupid that is (they busted Tommy Chong, Ricky, you think they won't come after you?) I agree with his stated reason to stay away from football: he didn't enjoy it. That's the best reason to quit a job. Now he's going to school to learn Native American medicine. Good. Do what you want to do, man. Football is bad for you in the long run. |
I dont think Ricky is a bad guy, and he still has talent and could contribute something, but he just doesnt want to play anymore, and I dont think any team wants of can afford someone like that.
|
Maybe his boyfriend will convince him to play again.
|
Going to school to learn Native American Medicine?
I'm intrigued about this... I know nothing about it |
He had the most generous deal available, too. Shit, only miss four games? He should have missed the entire year.
No way in hell would Buffalo trade Willis. He's a stud in the making. Ricky isn't. Ricky's worth a fifth round pick AT BEST. If I was a GM, I wouldn't want that cancer in my locker room. |
Ricky really should have taken the deal. Even if he has no desire at all to return, why not feign interest and serve the suspension. That way, if he ever decides to come back, he'd already have the 4-game ban out of the way.
|
he's a weird dude all right.
i'll still admire him for his collegic accomplishments. |
