FngKestrel: You can get winter formula paintballs that have a lower freezing point. I know Draxxus makes an "Artic Inferno" brand ball that's for winter use.
As for problems: 1) Lube: A lot of lubes gum up in colder weather. A big problem for any marker using a spool valve. 2) CO2: Just use HPA, really. CO2 in the winter, nothing good can come of that 3) Expensive electronics and snow: Use a $1000+ marker with snow around, yikes I'd suggest trying to find an indoor field. I played last winter indoors, and it worked out pretty good. A little nippy since they didn't turn the heat up much, but |

I'm near chesterfield. I currently use a hand built cocker based on a 96 body year. HPA, and no i dont use any "special" winter blend paintballs. Just what ever i can get a exotic sports just dont the street. I keep it in my car so thay dont freeze. But its great fun in 3 inches of snow.
