KC Chiefs
After the amazing game they had against Atlanta, is it feasible for them to make a run? Can they beat the Colts next week? Playoff hopes still alive?
I think they can make the playoffs. I don't think that they can lose more than one more game however. I predict that they will make the playoffs, and win the Super Bowl, even in the face of adversity. We will beat Indianapolis, and we will beat New England. We will not be IGNORED! |

I think the Chiefs can finish a 10-6 team, losing to Indy and NE. I just can't see them winning the division - unless Denver blows a game, they should finish with 11 or 12 wins, and they have the tiebreakers over the Chiefs. A lot of it is out of their control, though. If NE, NYJ, Jacksonville, and Indy all continue to play well, they may get shut out even with 10 wins, similar to last years Dolphins. |

While Priest is an asset, our Offensive Line is what really made last week special. After all, we scored more rushing touchdowns than ever before . . . Priest with 4 Blaylock with 4. All of which were against the "Number 1 ranked rushing defense in the NFL". I think we are just now finding our groove.

Chiefs will make the playoffs depending on which defense shows up, we need the one that played the Falcons and Ravens. The offense can take care of itself, special teams need to step up, but I think we have a realistic chance of getting into the post season. |

You'll have to get by my Bucs first. Week 9 at our house.
I think a lot of teams are at the same point now. It is easier to gauge the strength of the remainder of the schedule now that 7 weeks have gone by. Who are the contenders and the pretenders. KC 2-4, Tenn. 2-5, Bucs 2-5, Carolina 1-5. These four are all teams who everyone predicted would be better than their current record indicates. Knowing how this league works they will all end up a game or two around .500. My Bucs have had a rough go. Injuries have hurt (Mike Alstott blew out his MCL last week, out for a month) but that seems to happen to all teams. It seems like coaching will have a lot to do with the final records now. Who can get the most out of the remaining players and games. For the record though, for the remainder of the season the Bucs only play two teams with winning records. KC is not one of them Gonna be interesting to watch and to answer your post, no I don't think KC will make the playoffs. Denver will win the division, KC's record will not be enough for a wild card.

I follow the Chiefs and I believe they do have a chance to make the playoffs. They can't beat New England as of yet. Although I believe New England will crash eventually. Chiefs have good offense, and the defense might be coming around. They need to get to .500 first, then win some important games.

So, after we beat the Colts, and then (a few weeks later) take on New England, When we win both of those games, will it make believer's out of you? The spread on Indy vs. KC is 2 points. 2 POINTS! After the win last week, and the Colts loss, coming too Arrowhead where the defense fell apart last year in the playoffs. I don't see KC as losing.

I don't think KC can beat Indy though. Peyton is too precise, Marvin Harrison is still looking for a breakout game, and their WR corp is just too deep. Plus, they have Edge running the ball, so you can't just focus on the pass. |

Hey Eagle,
What's the word around KC re: this weekends game? Does everybody think the Chefs will rush for 8 TD's and win by three points? We're hoping to have a couple of injured guys back and sure hope you girls take it easy on us.

Just had to talk a little smack since you brought up the Chefs.
We have the #2 defense in the league. Held the Priest to less than 100yds and knocked him out of the game in the third quarter. Forced three turnovers and didn't commit any ourselves. We're the team headed to the playoffs. When we can beat Atlanta this week, we are only two games back with 7 to play. Also a picture from my seat at Sundays game. Final Score TAMPA BAY BUCS - 34, kc chiefs - 31

what is our deal. . . Our DEFENSE can't seem to do shit. I Enjoy watching them going after the QB more often but come on. Every time they do they give up a huge play. So now the question is, can we/will we still make the playoffs? What do we do in the off season? Pick up a corner . . . . free saftey? What type of personal changes do we "have" to make. I'm just frusterated.
