Totally Inspirational!
I didn't get to see this commercial after the game, so for those of you who are like I was, and didn't know about it, here it is. This broke me into tears numerous times, and it still gives me chills to watch when it gets up to the "2004" part.
http://www.nike.com/usa/justdoit/v2/index.jhtml This is the best commercial I have ever seen, probably becuase it hits so close to home for me. But as a deep Sox fan, it made me realize, you know... this is what the game is all about. It isn't "Jeter Fucks Boys" it isn't "Yankees Suck", "Pedro, who's your daddy?", "Red Sox Suck" or "A-Rod is a little bitch". When you step back and think about it, sometime you will think to yourself: "Wow, people lived thier whole life for this team, and NO MATTER WHAT, we always pulled for our Boston. This goes WAY deeper than 2004, its been almost 100 years!! Even if we've gone through rough times through the years, we always supported our Red Sox, now thats some unconditional love." As 'Tessie' tells us: "We're not here to mess around. Boston, you know we love you madly. Hear the crowd roar to your sound. Don't blame us if we ever doubt'cha, you know we couldn't live without'cha, Boston you are the only, only, only." And it's a beautiful thing. Now we can live out all of our dreams... and just this thought brings an unexplainable joy to my heart.

It was a neat movie, but I guess in order to fully appreciate it, it's a "had to be there" situation.
I'm actually kind of tired of hearing about the Red Sox already, and I'd like to see them win the WS, just so they can get over it and move on. That being said, I don't think they'll win, as I think the Cardinals are the best team in baseball this year, but it should be a good series. |

Packers fans are at least equal to Boston fans
Sold out every single game since the 70's? I think so. 76,000 screaming fans at every single game can't be wrong. But you can't take away from Boston fans, especially after all the hard luck they have had... Kudos to Boston.
