TFP Football Pool Week #4
Week 4 and teams are starting to settle into a groove, although not necessarily the right one. Can the undefeated teams stay that way, and will the teams riding the donut in the win column break out of the funk? As usual, your guess is a good as the next. So, let’s see your guesses.
TFP Football Pool rules: 1. Pick one team from each game to win the game. If they win, you get one point. Ties count as a loss. The most points win. (Points spreads are not included, so therefore they do not matter. “Just win, Baby” - Al Davis) 2. After all games are picked, give a point total for the total points scored in the Monday night football game. This is used as a tie breaker. The closest, without going over will break the tie. If all tied go over, the closest wins. 3. Have your picks in before the first kickoff. The thread will be closed at some point after midnight EST the night before the first game. (Thank you Spectre.) Don't be late - PM's after the thread is closed will not count. For convenience purposes please only list the winning team name. You should copy and delete from the schedule provided. Thank you, and good luck. Week #4 Team (2004 record, 2004 road/home record) Sunday October 3, 2004 Cincinnati (1-2, 0-1 road) Pittsburgh (2-1, 1-0 home) New England (2-0, 1-0 road) Buffalo (0-2, 0-1 home) Oakland (2-1, 0-1 road) Houston (1-2, 0-1 home) Washington (1-2, 0-1 road) Cleveland (1-2, 1-0 home) Indianapolis (2-1, 1-1 road) Jacksonville (3-0, 1-0 home) NY Giants (2-1, 0-1 road) Green Bay (1-2, 0-1 home) Philadelphia (3-0, 1-0 road) Chicago (1-2, 0-1 home) Atlanta (3-0, 1-0 road) Carolina (1-1, 0-1 home) New Orleans (2-1, 1-0 road) Arizona (0-3, 0-1 home) Denver (2-1, 0-1 road) Tampa Bay (0-3, 0-1 home) NY Jets (2-0, 1-0 road) Miami (0-3, 0-2 home) Tennessee (1-2, 1-0 road) San Diego (1-2, 0-1 home) St. Louis (1-2, 0-1 road) San Francisco (0-3, 0-1 home) Monday October 4, 2004 Kansas City (0-3, 0-1 road) Baltimore (2-1, 1-0 home) This weeks prize: Galoshes (one size fits some)! With the increased weather severity in the southern states, and the impending winter for the northern and eastern states, these will come in handy to keep your feet warm and dry. For those out west, I guess you’ll just have to store them in the closet for that one time a year it rains. |
