TFP NFL Suicide Pool (Join now or be locked out!)
This is week one the brand new TFP Football Suicide Pool. If you want to participate you must start from week one. Why? Read the rules and find out:
1. Each week you must pick one team to win that week. If they win you continue on in the pool the next week. You lose, you are out. 2. You may only pick a team one time during the pool to win a game. So if in week one you pick St. Louis to beat Arizona, don't plan on picking them in week two to beat Atlanta. (This is where the strategy comes into play - choose wisely when to take your "sure thing" team.) Since this is a single elimination, be sure to have your pick in by midnight EST the night before the first game. If the mod (thanks again Spectre) locks the thread before you pick, you have not picked, and have lost. Any questions? No. Good. Let the games begin!

I want to be known for picking upsets so I'll say Cincy over the Jets.... even tho I think the better guess is Cleveland over Baltimore.

HHHMMMM.........
It seems that the winning stategy would be to pick the winner that is least likely to win later in the season, thus leaving the more obviously strong teams for other weeks. Week 1 offers lots of choices in this category: Cincy/NYJ Jacksonville/Buffalo Detroit/Chicago Oakland/Pittsburg ATL/SFran In order to get them (and myself) out of the way early, this week's pick is: Buffalo
