scary to think that the DUCKS beat up the WINGS!!!
The Avs are showing their stregth, the Oilers had a good game but the Stars are really strong, The Sens already one, and the Leafs and Flyers are playing a good seris, but i saved the best for last. THE LIGHTNING!!! Woo Woo, their playing good in their past few games, that 2-1 win was awesome, i was there and that place was ROCKIN'!!!!! |

I'm so disappointed after tonight's Leaf loss to Philly. C'mon guys; pull it together!
Overall, it looks like it's gonna be an excellent playoffs all around.

Ottawa had to win that series to dump the choke label. They have so much firepower that they can't be taken lightly by any team. Them or the Avs, the finals will be wild, thats all I can say. Man I LOVE play-off hockey!

Go Sens Go. But I put New Jersey in the finals against Dallas. And Dallas should win it all unless M. Patrick Roy decide to stop everything and give the Avalanche one more cup.
And the Flyers should put T.O. out of there misery in 6. :O) |

How about the crowd in Edmonton. They not only raise the roof, but the bar in terms of great hockey cities. I was really sad to see them knocked out this year ater such a determined run.

I am a leafs fan!!!
I have to say, this playoff series between the Leafs and Philly is pretty exciting to watch, even though the leafs are getting beaten up. But still, I think the Leafs have it in them to beat Philly and advance a couple of rounds. Go Leafs Go! |

I too am sorry to see the Oilers go - If they'd taken Dallas to seven it would have been anyone's game.
They were burnt by refs in second game. Also Tommy looked a little ordinary maybe. Gotta have extra-ordinary goaltending to beat the first place team. But we lasted longer than Detriot !!! |

Anybody else notice something rather interesting in the CBC Leaf/Flyer game? I don't know how you could not see them, but good googily-moogily those 2 chicks waving Leaf flags in the front row were..............rather attractive. I mean, good grief, their chesty "pillows" were bigger than the ones on my bed. And you know what happens when you mix cold temperature with breasts........
The playoffs just got a lil' bit more interesting, lads

WOO GO CANUCKS!
I can't believe they battled back from a 3-1 deficit...oh st louis is gonna regret not finishing them off earlier. Yay and toronto forced game 7. Not a huge maple leafs fan, but I hate them less than philly. Oh and the wild beat colorado, I hope they take game 7. I'd rather the Canucks play them than Colorado

flyman, the Ottawa Sun ran an article on the Isles sweeping girls ... smart marketing over the 40-something males running the shovels in Ottawa. They even profiled one of the Isles announcers as the Sunshine Girl.
That being said, Go Sens Go!

This is just turning into a great postseason, and it's only the first round!
I really don't have a favorite team just yet. I'm partial to the Blues, but we'll have to see if they make it out of the first round tonight. Thankfully, I don't have to be up early tomorrow morning, so I can enjoy the 3 games in their entireties(sp?)...

Sorry about that last post..got distracted. I'm all focus now..The Canucks are going to kick butt tonight!
Unfortunately, I'm in Boston on business and won't be able to watch the game (hotel only has ESPN and they're playing on ESPN2). Sports bar is a possibility I guess. Go Canucks!! |

So many Sens fans. Brings a tear to my eye.
Though if the Flyers win, I wouldn't cry too hard. Especially since it'll have meant that they beat the Leafs in the first round. How do we hate the Leafs.

Oh my.... DAvid struck down Golia... I mean the Wild beat the AVS.... I am in near tears.
It's anybodys series now... With the AVS and the Wings out it has really opened up this cup series. I can't wait for the Wild/Canucks!!!!!!!
