I remember watching Sapp's interview when he started with the slavery comments. He kept complaining that not being able to take his helmet off was hurting his marketability, because fewer people could see his face than they could a basketball or baseball player's. Therefore, he can't make as much money and it's the NFL's fault. Because the millions and millions he's making already isn't enough? Arrrrrggghhh.........

That is quality writing right there.

That story has actually motivated me to created a folder in my Inbox for similiarly well-written stories I come across so I can have them available for future reading/sharing.

The bad part of the article is that it passes judgement on TO. Pass judgement on the concept not the person. In this case it invalidates what the author is saying.

I think Sapp had a good argument last year.

Personally I didnt really like where the article was going, I think it was playing the race card way too much. And clearly Terrell Owens isnt a slave, but it does seem to be true there's one rule for him, and one rule for someone like Shockey.

The thing is T.O. is the one who keeps bringing up the racial, slavery connotations. You can't blame the auther for commenting on Owens statements. If he's a slave, show me where to sign.
