Mike Hall debuts next Monday
Finally, the Dream Job winner is out of school and is making his debut next Monday on SportsCenter. I know a few of you care.
FINALLY!
But which one? Morning, afternoon, or night? |
Wow, 3 months after the show. Let's see what he can come up with now, with all the time to create...
Waiting 3 months... bad move by ESPN I had already forgotten who this guy is. Immediate hire should have been a prerequisite.
For those of you not in the know, Mike Hall was in the competition during the school year. He needed to complete his classes before he could focus on the show.

That's why I suggested it should have been a prerequisite of contesting for the spot. It's bad marketing for ESPN, they should have a had a huge role out for Hall as soon as the show ended to ride the momentum. If I'm Hall I leave school for this job and worry about finishing my degree after I'm comfortable with the work load. It's a lose/lose IMO. |
I've seen Mike Hall on ESPNews alot recently. He's good, but he doesn't have a very distinctive voice like some of the great Sportscenter anchors.
Its about damn time! A couple weeks ago I saw Zach on around the horn and I was confused as hell. It was only temp and I hope Mike makes his debut worth staying up for.
Zach was filling in as guest host for a week. He made a few appearances on PTI around that time too, reading the mail and such.
I just saw the ad and apparently Mikey is supposed to be doing the late night/early morning Sportscenter all this week. |

He did a good enough job when I saw him.
I just watched it. He was pretty good actually, but I appreciated Zach's humor more.
Yeha he's pretty good, a little boring though.
he's gotta work on the delivery.. most of what he says goes by in a blur and he uses "grrrreat" too often.
