I love the guy but here we go again :mad: Griffey has partial tear of right hamstring


He's out of the All Star game and headed for another extended stay on the DL.

Well I guess Bonds will be all upset now seeings how he kept building up the "3 500 HR OF", and how he said it was going to be great to play with JR.

Methinks, JR is just going to sit out the All-Star game and will be back shortly thereafter. Perhaps his pride is telling him he doesn't deserve the AS team.

On the other hand he was down a week or so ago with dehydration and leg cramps.... so who knows what is truly going on.

Why doesn't he deserve it this year? He's having a good year, and was healthy before this.

Someone who hits .250 does not deserve to be on the all star team.

Until voting is taken from the fans who made this years AL team look like the Yankees from a few years ago with the exception of A-Rod there will always be the who does and does not belong debate

this sux. I've never seen such a bad luck HOF before.

What a shame but we've been here already and done this countless times before...

This isn't a biggie. Sucks that he's missing the all-star game, but he'll be back soon enough.

One must also remember, from what I understand when he played under Jack McKeon in Cincy, JR had some very bad mojo with the man.
